Spark™ Clear Aligners

Spark is an aligner system that is clearer, more comfortable, less prone to staining and less expensive that Invisalign. I am always evaluating new technology and have been very pleased with Spark Aligners. When the technology first became available, I treated myself as the first Spark patient in our office. Since then, most of our patients have chosen to be treated by Spark. We will review your options and make the best choice for you at your new patient consultation.

What you need to know about Spark Aligners

• You need to wear them 20 – 22 hours/day. They are removed for brushing, eating and contact sports that require a mouth guard.
• You will have a digital scan of your mouth (no impressions) to fabricate the aligners
• We have a 3-D cone beam CT to evaluate your jaws and teeth and this image is combined with your dental scan to create a 3-D representation of your teeth and jaws. This image is used to plan your treatment and fabricate your aligners. This allows for more predictable results than when we only had the dental scans of your teeth.
• Spark aligners are very effective in treating a large range of dental problems. We now treat more complicated problems than ever before since the technology has improved dramatically even during the past 5 years.
